Cargo storage gives you a safe place for goods that are waiting for shipping, clearance or a sale. It is useful when your shipment is not ready, a vessel is delayed or the receiver is not ready to accept delivery.

Common Reasons to Store Cargo

• Waiting for the rest of an order before shipping
• A gap between supplier delivery and dispatch
• Delay at the port, airport or border
• Holding goods until the receiver is ready

Good Storage Practice

• Keep cargo on pallets, off the floor
• Label each item clearly
• Keep an inventory of what is stored
